Delivery Helper/Driver

Boston Inc. doing business as Furniture and ApplianceMart and Ashley Furniture HomeStore has an opening for a full time Delivery Driver/Helper. The ideal candidate would assist in delivering merchandise in a timely and professional manner, without damage to merchandise or customer property. Act as a company representative, by making contact with customers regarding any questions or concerns regarding delivery. Removal of customer’s old product without any damage to property, which may require disassembly and other duties as assigned.

Qualified Delivery Driver applicants must have a valid Drivers’ License in good standing, CDL license preferred. Delivery Driver/Helper candidates should have the ability to lift and carry extremely heavy objects (100 to 150 lbs) with material handling equipment, while walking on snow, ice or mud. In addition, the candidate should have problem solving skills, attention to detail, customer service skills, the knowledge of basic hand tools and the ability to work independently as well as working in a team environment. Compensation starts at $12.50/hr. with monthly bonus opportunities for the helper and $15/hr. with monthly bonus opportunities for the delivery driver.
