Appliance Extended Warranty
Happiness Protection Plan
In consideration of payment of the Extended Service Agreement price, Furniture & ApplicanceMart, will provide the following extended
service protection plan. Furniture & ApplianceMart will provide labor and replacement parts necessary to repair a mechanical or electrical
failure of the covered product specified above caused by defects in workmanship or materials during normal usage for the time period
specified on your sales receipt.
If the defective product is replaced this extended 5-year warranty is null and void and the extended warranty is not applicable to your new
replacement product. A new warranty can be purchased for the replacement product at an additional cost. You are only entitled to replacement
of any matching appliances that are not defective.
Coverage commences on the date the customer takes possession of the product, and is inclusive of the manufacturer’s warranty period.
All repairs must be carried out by Furniture & ApplianceMart service department or others with prior Furniture & ApplianceMart approval.
Furniture & ApplianceMart will not reimburse the customer for repairs not authorized by Furniture & ApplianceMart. In home service is provided
on all products that the manufacturer authorized such service. While we try to complete service as quickly as possible, we are not responsible
for delays caused by factors beyond control.
Special Benefits
Food Spoilage
The cost of replacing food that spoiled as a result of a covered failure of a refrigerator or freezer will be covered to a maximum of $100 per
service repair during the term of the agreement.
Replacement Guarantee
If the covered product has three service repairs completed and the fourth repair is required, as determined by Furniture & ApplianceMart,
within any 12-month period, the product will be replaced with a comparable product. Preventative maintenance checks, cleaning, product
diagnosis, customer education, accessory repairs/replacements and any unauthorized repairs are not considered repairs for the purposes of
this Replacement Guarantee.
Major Component Coverage
This plan also covers the cost of replacing the following parts for a period of ten years from the date of purchase: Washer transmission, Dryer
heating element/gas burner, dishwasher motor, range baking/broiling surface elements and/or electronic ignition, microwave magnetron,
refrigerator/freezer or room air conditioner compressor. Service labor or trip charges are not covered during the extended 10-year period of
coverage beyond the original 5-year period of this Plan.
Conditions and Exclusions
The product must be maintained in accordance with the requirements and/or recommendations set forth by the manufacturer to keep the
Plan in force. This Plan does not cover damage to merchandise caused by misuse, tampering, accident, natural disasters, product alterations or
damage caused by non-authorized repair personnel or improper installation of appliances.
Not Covered by the Plan
- Any replacement of consumable or disposable or cosmetic items, such as knobs, batteries, shelves, glass shelves, rollers, handles, baskets,
filters, bulbs, icemakers or water dispensers.
- Replacement of refrigerant coolant unless loss is caused by covered failure. XTENDEERVICE
- Repair of cosmetic damage where the function of the product is unaffected.
- Loss of use of the product or consequential loss of any kind, except for food spoilage, as set forth above.
- Service calls where no covered failure is found. Customer shall be charged the prevailing service charge fee if customer requests service
work where no covered failure is found.
Cancellation
You may within fifteen calendar days of the delivery of this Plan, reject and return this Plan for a full refund less actual costs or charges
needed to issue and service this Plan. If you cancel this plan any time during the coverage period, claims will not be considered when
calculating any refund due.
Happiness Credits
If your protection plan expires and you never filed a claim for repairs, we will give you a credit of 50% of the protection plan purchase
amount. This credit must be used within 180 days after the protection plan period is complete. The happiness credit cannot be used on
electronics merchandise or closeout merchandise and the happiness credit cannot be combined with any other discount or coupon offer.
The credit can only be deducted from the tagged sale price on merchandise. This protection plan copy must be presented at the time of
redemption and the credit cannot be applied to prior purchases. The merchandise purchased with the happiness credit can be financed for
a maximum term of 12 months.
Furniture Extended Warranty
Furniture Care Protection
The “Furniture Care Protection Agreement” is effective for ten years from the date the consumer shown on the original receipt takes delivery.
Furniture Care Protection offers coverage for mechanical and structural breakdowns on the Mattress Power Base and is effective upon the
expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty. This Agreement applies to one Mattress Power Base with a total cost of $5,000 or less before sales tax

When Calling for Service, Consumer Must Have
- The original receipt showing Consumer’s purchase of the agreement made with the purchase of the new qualifying Power Base
- The original copy of this Agreement
- The original delivery date of their pair products and item(s)
- The date of the occurrence of damage or breakdown
There is no deductible required to obtain service for your Power Base. Service will be performed in your home; if required, the authorized
service center may opt to remove the Power Base to perform service in-shop and will return the Power Base upon completion. If Furniture
Care Protection is unable to repair the damage professionally, we will at our discretion, replace the affected item. If we pay for a loss, we may
require you to assign us your rights of recovery against others; we will not pay for a loss if you impair these rights to recover. Your rights to
recover from others may not be waived.
How the Agreement Works
On Fabric or Microfiber
- Household food and beverages stains
- Stains from human and pet saliva, urine, stomach fluid, or blood
- Accidental burn or singe marks cause by brief contact with flame
or heat from a single incident
- Color transfer from blue jeans or newspaper
- Accidental puncture, cut, tear or rip from a single incident
On A&P Leather or Viny
- Household food and beverage stains
- Stains from human and pet saliva, urine, stomach fluid, or blood
- Accidental burn or singe marks cause by brief contact with flame
or heat from a single incident
- Accidental ballpoint pen ink, wax crayon, facial cosmetics or nail
polish from a single incident
- Color transfer from denim jeans or newspaper
- Cracking or peeling of top grain leather in seating areas
- Cracking or peeling on all leather and vinyl in non-seating areas
- Accidental puncture, cut, tear or rip from a single incident
On Wood
- Household food and beverage stains (Product stain-excluding
accumulation)
- Accidental burn or singe marks cause by brief contact with flame
or heat from a single incident
- Fading from sun exposure
- Accidental damage from finger nail polish or finger nail polish
remover from a single incident
- Failure of assembled joints
- Water or household beverage marks, stains or rings
- Accidental scratches penetrating through the top coat finish from
a single incident
- Peeling of the finish of solid wood or veneer surfaces
Mechanical and Structural Breakdowns* to Fabric, A&P Leather
and Vinyl Upholstered Furniture as a result of
- Breakage of frames, panels or springs
- Breaking of mechanisms including sleeper mechanisms, reclining
mechanisms, and heating, power and vibrating mechanisms
*Coverage of frames, panels, springs and mechanisms may be used only upon expiration of manufacturer’s warranty and many not be used in lieu of manufacturer’s warranty
Important Exclusions
- Any loss other than covered breakdown or damage of the Power
Base.
- Any damage caused by the consumer during the assembly of
ready to assemble items
- Product repairs that are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty
or as a result of a recall, regardless of the manufacturer’s ability
to cover such repairs.
- Any and all pre-existing conditions that occur prior to the
effective date of the agreement and/or any product sold used or
damaged.
- Any stain or damage occurring prior to or during delivery, or
while furniture is in transit or storage
- Damage from willful abuse, misuse mishandling, unauthorized
modifications or alterations to a covered product, failure to follow
manufacturer’s instructions
- External causes including fire, theft, insects, acts of nature, illegal
acts, acts of god or consequential loss of any nature
- Incidental, consequential or secondary damages or delay in
rendering service under this agreement, or loss of use during
the period that the covered product is at an authorized service
center or otherwise awaiting parts
- Stain or damage caused by appliance malfunctions and any leak
resulting from malfunction
- Any product used for commercial, institutional or rental
purposes
- Failures that occur outside of the 50 states of the United States
of America, including the District of Columbia.
- Unauthorized repairs and/or parts.
- Service where no problem can be found.
- Breakdowns which are not reported within the term of this
Agreement.
- Any damage resulting from everyday use or that has built up
over time
- Stain or damage resulting from the use of cleaning products
not approved by the manufacturer, mold, mildew, odor, stains
caused by medical incontinence.
- Damage caused by an independent contractor or other service
maintenance personnel.
- Bodily injury.
- Damage caused by Pets (other than bodily fluids).
- Wear related repairs or damage, such as, but not limited to rust
or corrosion, normal wear and tear, scratches or dents.
- Noises.
- Accessories used in conjunction with the covered product.
Renew or Transfer
This agreement is not renewable or transferable
