FURNITURE & APPLIANCEMART’S CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEE PROGRAM
A. FURNITURE & APPLIANCEMART’S PRICE GUARANTEE ASSURES YOU OF THE BEST PRICE FOR YOUR MERCHANDISE.
In the event the merchandise purchased on this purchase contract is offered for sale at a lower price within 30 days of its purchase, Furniture & ApplianceMart will issue a refund to the original purchaser in an amount equal to the difference between the original purchase price (less taxes) and the lower purchase price plus 15% of the difference. PROVIDED THAT 1. The lower price is a retail price based on the same terms; including warranty, offered by an authorized dealer located within a 150 mile radius of the Furniture & ApplianceMart store at which the merchandise was purchased. (Lower prices that result from a manufacturer’s rebate program are not covered by this guarantee nor does this apply to merchandise not readily available for immediate purchase and delivery, floor samples, demo models one of a kind models, limited quantity offers, close-outs or discounted models.); 2 written proof (e.g. newspaper ad, formal signed offer), which can be independently verified, is provided substantiating, (a) that the lower sale price is a retail price offered to the general public and (b) that the lower priced product is new, undamaged and unmarred and is packaged in the manufacturer’s original container, 3. the original purchaser presents the original unaltered Furniture & ApplianceMart sales receipt for the merchandise; AND 4. no more than one refund will be issued. The issuance of a refund shall terminate all responsibility of Furniture & ApplianceMart under this price guarantee.
B. FURNITURE & APPLIANCEMART’S RETURN POLICY.
- New item in unopened, undamaged container returned within 10 days of purchase, qualifies for full refund or full store credit.
- New item in an opened container or out of container with no physical or cosmetic damage returned within five days of purchase, qualifies for full store credit or cash refund less 15% restocking charge. New items requiring service, see item E, Buyer Protection Plan below.
- Sleep products and special orders are not returnable.
- Furniture & ApplianceMart’s minimum pickup charge $60.00 includes warranty exchange claims.
- Set up and delivery charges are non-refundable.
- Elite protection or fabric protection charges are non-refundable.
- All sales are final on close out merchandise.
C. FURNITURE & APPLIANCEMART’S CANCELLATION POLICY (Special Order Merchandise).
Non-cancelable and deposit non-refundable.
D. FURNITURE & APPLIANCEMART’S SPECIAL ORDER POLICY.
All special order merchandise must be scheduled for delivery or pickup within 14 days of notification that your merchandise is received
E. PRICE RESERVATION ORDERS.
A price reservation order is defined as a sales order with appliance, bedding and electronics merchandise where the merchandise is not in stock or not scheduled for delivery within 14 days of the purchase date. A price reservation order reserves the price but does not commit merchandise to the sales order. On appliance and electronics price reservation orders, we reserve the right to provide you with similar merchandise. Price reservation orders require a 20% down payment. Your price reservation order will be cancelled and you will forfeit your deposit if you do not receive your merchandise within six months of the purchase date.
F. FURNITURE ORDERS
Furniture orders must be paid in full within 90 days of purchase date. If full payment is not made in 90 days, your furniture order will be cancelled and your deposit lost. Furniture orders must be received within nine months of the purchase date.
G. BUYER PROTECTION PLAN (Expedited Service Attention).
15 DAY SERVICE
Any unit purchased at a Furniture & ApplianceMart requiring service within two weeks after your receipt of merchandise will be serviced within 15 days after receipt of merchandise in our service department. YOU MUST PRESENT YOUR SALES RECEIPT at the time you bring your merchandise for service. We will exchange your merchandise if after our inspection we are unable to repair it. The Buyer Protection Plan does not apply to units requiring service due to customer misuse or abuse and it also does not apply to merchandise purchased as is.
SERVICE AFTER THE BUYER PROTECTION PERIOD
Furniture & ApplianceMart will service all product lines sold by us in or out of warranty in our trade area. Carry-in items must be brought to our service department. Other items that carry in-home service will be done in your home. On appliances and electronics merchandise requiring repair work beyond the manufacturer’s warranty period, you are responsible for the cost of service parts and labor required to repair your merchandise.
H. FURNITURE SERVICE POLICY – 90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY.
Except for merchandise bought as-is, Furniture & ApplianceMart will service furniture products for repairs which are a result of manufacturing defect, for a period of 90 Days from the date of purchase. This policy includes parts and labor involved in the repair. In-home service is available for items delivered by Furniture & ApplianceMart’s delivery department for a period of 90 days from the original date of purchase in our delivery area of 70 miles. This furniture Service Policy does not apply to units requiring service due to customer misuse or abuse or to fabric repairs.
I. SPECIAL ORDERS OR FABRIC REPAIRS.
A 30% deposit is required on special orders. Furniture special orders take up to 12 weeks and some may exceed that.
All C.O.D. deliveries must be paid for prior to or on delivery or pickup of the product. No exceptions. If this is not possible, ask about Furniture & ApplianceMart’s convenient credit card. Furniture & ApplianceMart retains a purchase money security interest in any goods not paid for in full. Should the buyer not pay the balance when due:
1) seller shall be entitled to the unpaid balance of the cash price together with any incidental damages prescribed by law;
2) Buyer, upon demand by seller, shall assemble the goods and make it available to seller at a place designated by seller, who shall have the right to take possession of the goods and dispose of them pursuant to law.
K. RESCHEDULING CHARGE
There is a rescheduling charge if delivery is rescheduled on the day of delivery.
Furniture & ApplianceMart reserves the right to correct all clerical errors such as addition, subtractions, and omission.
Refunds will be issued within 10 business days when paying by cash or check.
