With Packers win Saturday, only two games remain until merchandise is free

(January 14, 2008) – Saturday’s win against Mike Holmgren’s Seattle Seahawks ensured the Green Bay Packer’s advancement to the NFC championship game and brought Boston Inc customers one game closer to possibly receiving well over $1 million in free merchandise.

In a unique promotion that’s garnered national exposure, Boston Inc., one of Wisconsin’s largest independent retailers of furniture, appliances and consumer electronics, promised customers free merchandise if the Packers win the big game on February 3, 2008. The merchandise eligible for redemption needed to be purchased between December 26, 2007 and January 7, 2008 in one of Boston Inc.’s eight Wisconsin locations including Ashley Furniture Home Store in Appleton, Green Bay and Plover, and Furniture & ApplianceMart in DePere, Oshkosh, Plover, Rhinelander and Wausau.

The win Saturday, coupled with the Dallas Cowboys’ unexpected loss yesterday, brings the Packers home to Lambeau Field on Sunday, January 20t for the 5:30 p.m. NFC Championship playoff game against the New York Giants.
